About this website

Who runs this website?

visitkimphu.com is the tourism website of the People's Committee of Kim Phú commune, Quảng Trị province, Vietnam. The commune manages the content itself and answers visitors on WhatsApp, Zalo and email.

What is it for?

To help you learn about Kim Phú and plan a visit: where to go, how to get here, where to sleep, what to eat and when to come. We write from the place itself, including things other sites have not caught up with yet, such as new place names after the 2025 administrative changes and the end of the border-area permit inside the tourism area.

What does it cover?

Places in the Kim Phú provincial tourism area, recognised by Quảng Trị Provincial People's Committee under Decision 2244/QĐ-UBND of 12 June 2026; how to get here; homestays verified by the commune and guide prices; local food; a month-by-month guide; and news in Kim Phú today.

Where does the information come from?

Homestay and meal prices and the list of hosts come from the commune and show the date they were last updated. Tour prices and schedules come from the operators (Oxalis Adventure, Greenland). News is sent in by commune staff and approved by the commune chairman before it goes up. Photos credit their source: the commune, villagers, or media and companies who gave permission.

Weather, water levels and road conditions change from day to day. Before you travel, especially in the rainy season, message us.

We don't sell tours or take deposits

This website sells nothing and takes no payments. Book rooms directly with the hosts on the commune's list, or tours with the operators. Only send a deposit to the phone numbers on our list, never to pages or accounts claiming to be a Tân Hóa homestay.

Chat assistant and audio guide

The Ask about Kim Phú button is an automated assistant that answers only from this website; bookings and today's conditions are passed to the commune on WhatsApp. The audio guide uses synthetic voices.
